I was going to post this last night but was
tired when I got home! Lol. I am part of our two local guilds - Emerald
Valley Quilters and Eugene Modern Quilt Guild. And I am actually on the
board for both guilds (VP of EVQ and Membership/Secretary of EMQG). Last
night was our board meeting for EVQ. Our guilds are very different in
many ways, but we have a lot of cross-over too. While EVQ is 25 years
old and more "traditional", we are growing considerably and have
increased our membership by nearly 20% in the past 3 months! EMQG is, as
you would guess, more "modern" and is a very young guild, only a few
years old. I love being a part of both and seeing the different quilts
but also learning how both function and learning what works and what
doesn't. I see big, exciting things in the future for both guilds and
I'd love to invite anyone in the area to come check us out!

On Monday I shared a picture from my mom's
driveway in the foggy morning. Here is the same view on this beautiful
sunny June day!

Had to share our other sewing dog, Abbi! She is mom's little
piggy and likes to hang out in the barn with us. Well, until the long
arm starts running anyway! For some reason she doesn't mind the sound of
any of the sewing machines but hates the long arm! Lol

This poor little piece of sashing has gotten beat up and
ripped out a couple times and got a couple nicks! Poor thing is getting
completely taken off and replaced now. Lol
